Lifeline Center has educated children with
behavioral health challenges since 1959…

And we’re still proudly serving our community.

We provide special education and therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Our programs teach them to overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.

Lifeline center also offers a close-knit support structure for the families of our students.

We succeed when your child – and your family – succeeds.

At Lifeline Center for Child Development, we believe every child deserves a future as big as they can imagine.

But when parents come to us, they are often frustrated – even scared – from seeing their child struggle with behavior and emotional problems that affect their education.

That’s why Lifeline Center does more than treat. We build teams. We build communities.

Lifeline’s experienced, multi-disciplinary staff provides warmth and encouragement that helps each child achieve their maximum potential.

Our programs create a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment… for your child and your family.

In fact, an important part of our program is working with families to create a long-range success plan for their child. What does a success plan do?

It ensures that each child will have the skills they need to successfully navigate the world and their place in it.

Unique programs, superior results.

Hi, I’m Chuck Caputo, Executive Director at Lifeline Center for Child Development.

I’m happy that you’re taking time to explore our website. I’d like to take a moment to share
something with you.

Here at Lifeline, we believe in your child and your family.

We also believe that the teamwork between you and Lifeline will have a positive effect on your child’s future…

And the contact we have with you and your child will impact your lives forever. That’s an awesome responsibility.

We strive to provide the best service possible because each child— including yours—deserves it.

But the family environment you’ll find at Lifeline isn’t the only thing that makes us unique.

Our day treatment program surrounds each child with an environment that is nurturing, organized, professional, and therapeutic. Our beautiful campus and outdoor recreational area is quite special.

And in addition to a great education, each child has access to other supportive and therapeutic staff… all on one campus. It’s an environment designed for one thing.

A successful future.

What does success look like? Well, honestly, it’s different for every family. You see, each family has its own challenges, goals, and expectations.

That’s why we’ll work with you to decide on the best long-range success plan for your child.

There is something important to remember. You’re not alone. We’re here to support you, your family, and your child every step of the way.

I can say this… a better future begins with helping each child overcome challenges. Our staff loves all of the kids we work with… but we want to see them go.

Why? Because when they go, it means they have developed skills to let them return to a mainstream educational setting. And that’s a big step on the wonderful road they’re walking.

And I want to give you an encouraging word.

90% of our students make that step.

Yes, 9 out of 10 children who take part in our programs return to a mainstream educational environment. Many graduate and move on to college or vocational training.

I’m excited to see your child be one of them.
